In GoTogether Initiative we want to contribute to a thriving society and sustainable world, you wanna join us? These are the main projects ongoing in the initiative:
Now more than ever, it’s time to take conscience of our world and the people that surround us. Thousands of scholars find their ideology, thoughts, actions or even their life under constant threat, organizations such as Scholar Rescue Fund take their hand and bring them to universities where they can continue with their careers safely. It’s just been given to us the opportunity to share with them our workplace, assist to their lectures, have access to their latest achievements…, but it’s also up to us to help them as much as we can in order to minimize their adaptation time. Small efforts from our end can help enormously to asylum seekers.
Join us in our initiative to mentor scholar refugees in our universities!
There is currently thousands of scholars worldwide forced to leave their countries because of his life or career being threatened. We work in collaboration with Scholar Rescue Fund helping them find universities willing to accept visiting scholars for a period of two years, which will allow them to continue with their career safely.
If you are interested in hosting or know any potential scholar to be rescued please contact us.
As a science diplomacy initiative, we think that learning from other countries makes your own better. We are working to implement better educative systems in our universities outside United States. Our ultimate goal is to break walls between science and medicine, and bring both disciplines together for the sake of science. Programs such as the MD-PhD program, provides with better educated faculty members at universities, hospitals and research centers, moreover, we believe it’s a tremendous good opportunity for our medical students to touch base with science and better understand the biology of the diseases. Likewise, it’s a perfect opportunity for future biological scientists to comprehend their data from a medical perspective.
If you think you can be of help to this initiative, please contact us and tell us your story. We are working to put people in touch with institutions to make this program possible.
As scientists we recognize the broad lack of original drawings in scientific papers, but we find tremendously necessary to provide with a professional graphical explanation of our biological findings. We know sometimes it’s difficult to find the time or the help to cope with them.
Contact us if you want to present your scientific data as a graphical scheme in a paper, conference, lecture…
