Last Friday, the event ‘Conflict-Awareness and Implementation of Peace Education’ congregated Member States, organizations of the United Nations System, as well as non-governmental organizations at the United Nations (UN). Organized by the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Malawi, the event was meant to remember which the fundamental values of the United Nations are and to commemorate the observance day ‘Time of Remembrance and Reconciliation for Those Who Lost Their Lives During the Second World War’.
